Internet poker disconnections
Internet poker allows players to enjoy their favorite poker games from the comfort of their own homes. However, because the internet poker room is different to a card room environment, some technical details are important.
Because playing internet poker requires that you be connected to the internet at all times, technology may rear its ugly head in the form of timeouts or disconnections. These are very rare, as our poker room has more than 99 percent up time. In the event that you are disconnected from the game, the result depends on the progress of betting before the disconnection.
The internet poker table will be notified of the event in the history window. If you were disconnected during a hand but had not yet placed a bet, your hand will be automatically folded if you cannot reconnect within 10 seconds. If you have already placed your bet when disconnected, you will be given 30 seconds to re-establish your connection.
If you are unable to reconnect and rejoin the internet poker table within 30 seconds, your bet will be considered your last, as if you were all-in – however, the bet amount is as you placed it. The hand will be completed under the standard rules for an all-in player.
